Puksundo Lake Pictures!!!!

Here are just a few of the PHENOMENAL photos from the trek to Puksundo lake!

Trekking back across the Bheri River.

Here is that BEAUtiful juxtaposition of the greenery and the river in Chhepka.

Last night in Chhepka!

Prem busting a move! He has evidently perfected the art of Nepali dancing :)

Last views of the lake....

Prayer flags...got love the excess of prayer flags, I mean really who can have too many prayers?

More monastery....

At the monastery.

More lake, this is standing on a bridge walking to the monastery.

Seriously! Could this water get any clearer...I think not!

My main men...Jake and Prem!

Crazy ass Jake taking a dip in the freezing Puksundo!

Me!

AH!!! THE LAKE!

Talk about going straight UP!!!

View from the trail to Puksundo.

The caravan we followed up the switchbacks to Puksundo...thank goodness!

Dinner cooked over an open fire on the second night...too bad it was too spicy for me to eat :(

Our second night's accomodation, we slept inside someone's store! It's Nepal!

Had to get a picture of myself on the trek....and YES! I am rocking socks with my sandals!

Here they are pretending to be porters. Haha!

Two ADORABLE little kids from our second night trekking.

Mountain view from the second night "hotel."

Prem (our guide) showing us through an abandoned ghost town...

Buddhist prayer flag statue, because Dolpa is so close to the Tibetan border more people are Tibetan/Buddhist than Nepali/Hindu.....not that these two nationalities are mutually exclusive, its just usually how it happens.

Mountain view from one of our lunch stops.

YAK Crossing!!!

First day of the trek, just along the trail.
